Gabrielle comes from a family of funny people in Montreal, which explains both her interest in storytelling and her lighthearted animosity towards her adopted hometown of Toronto. A natural at getting the job done, Gabrielle’s career has always married creativity, productivity and a healthy dose of social responsibility. And if that’s not enough, she’s a bit of a gourmand in her down time.
Gabrielle holds international experience working in a variety of capacities with non-profit organizations including NGOs in Canada, Ghana and Namibia. Her professional background is rooted in a mix of fundraising, communications, production and filmmaking. This melange of a background has translated into a strength for combining strategic thinking with creative execution.
Included amongst Gabrielle's clients are Canadian Crossroads International, Alzheimer's Disease International, Evergreen, George Brown College and Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada. Outside the non-profit sector, Gabrielle has produced a number of films, exhibits and special events. In 2009 she cofounded The Spotlight Project a production company that produces arts and entertainment tied to a social mission.
